RIP Debby Constantino

Aloha my wonderful merfolk,

Sadly, I do not bring you a blog full of alternative pixie dust. Today, I bring a blog of sad news and remembrance. I woke up this morning to the news that Mark and Debby Constantino, EVP specialists who have worked with many a paranormal crew and have appeared on many a Paranormal television shows, have passed away.

As a fan of the paranormal and having seen this couple give their experitse many a time, this news saddens me. Not only because of their passing, but how their passing came about. I have placed the rest of this blog under a read more as what follows includes a story which may be triggering to some readers.

On the 23rd of September 2015, I woke up to see the following tweet:

I was unsure of what Jay meant, so clicked on the tweet. What I was met with, made my heart sink:

The news story, that you can read here, states that Mark and Debby Constantino have been estranged for some time due to domestic incidents. He was arrested back in August for strangling Debbie till she became unconscious. The story then goes on to say that Mark kidnapped Debby and murdered her before turning a gun on himself. After the news broke, the paranormal community sent out their thoughts:

Billy Tolley shared his thoughts through a link to Instagram.

Dustin Pari tweeted several numbers regarding Domestic Violence charities.

Jason Hawes, TAPS lead investigator.

David Oman, owner of the ‘Oman House’ and controversial figure when it comes to the Paranormal. However, he showed his respect along with the rest of the community.

  1. Debby was a great lady! I didn’t know her long or that well but I knew her enough to know she had a great heart. It’s sad things ended up the way they did and it got to this point. They were both loved by so many people. Mark took a lot of love and light from people but he had problems himself. We will never understand but praying God does and he forgives Mark for what he did.

  2. The emergency number is 911, not 999! Just FYI. Might want to edit that last paragraph.

However, this is a tragedy. Especially when you look at the timeline, the people involved, and the circumstances. I hope this family can find peace.
