Aloha my wonderful merfolk,
Sadly, I do not bring you a blog full of alternative pixie dust. Today, I bring a blog of sad news and remembrance. I woke up this morning to the news that Mark and Debby Constantino, EVP specialists who have worked with many a paranormal crew and have appeared on many a Paranormal television shows, have passed away.
As a fan of the paranormal and having seen this couple give their experitse many a time, this news saddens me. Not only because of their passing, but how their passing came about. I have placed the rest of this blog under a read more as what follows includes a story which may be triggering to some readers.
On the 23rd of September 2015, I woke up to see the following tweet:
I was unsure of what Jay meant, so clicked on the tweet. What I was met with, made my heart sink:
The news story, that you can read here, states that Mark and Debby Constantino have been estranged for some time due to domestic incidents. He was arrested back in August for strangling Debbie till she became unconscious. The story then goes on to say that Mark kidnapped Debby and murdered her before turning a gun on himself. After the news broke, the paranormal community sent out their thoughts:
Billy Tolley shared his thoughts through a link to Instagram.
Jeff Belanger; the Ghost Adventures researcher.
Zak Bagans, lead investigator of the Ghost Adventures Crew.
Ghost Stalkers/ Nick Groff Tours
Chad Lindberg, Investigator for Nick Groff’s Ghost Stalkers.
Nick Groff; former Investigator of Ghost Adventures and Executive Producer of Ghost Stalkers.
Ghost Hunters/ TAPS
Amy Bruni needed a twitlonger to share her sadness.
Dustin Pari tweeted several numbers regarding Domestic Violence charities.
Jason Hawes, TAPS lead investigator.
David Oman, owner of the ‘Oman House’ and controversial figure when it comes to the Paranormal. However, he showed his respect along with the rest of the community.
This entire story is so saddening to family, friends and fans within the paranormal community. It is also tragic as a whole. Domestic Violence is never acceptable. If you feel that you are in immediate danger, please get yourself out and call 999. You are not at fault. You deserve better than this, You are worth everything. Please, please get help.
