Happy Halloween all my wonderful merfolk!
As it is Halloween this month, I thought I would do the Halloween Tag. I originally saw Melanie Murphy do this tag (although there are many on Youtube), and you can see that video here.
So, let’s get on with the tag shall we?
1. What is your favourite Halloween Movie?
My favourite Halloween movie is probably Hocus Pocus. I watch it every year without fail.
2. If you were in a horror movie, how far would you get?
Going off my level of fitness I want to say, not very far. However, given my knowledge of horror movies I would like to say I’d at least survive, or perhaps be the penultimate death?
3. What is your favourite memory of Halloween?
I remember as a kid I would always go to the same friends house for a Halloween party and then go out trick or treating. Then, there was last Halloween. I dressed up as a living dead doll and went out with some friends. Best Halloween I had had for a very long time.
4. Your best/worst Halloween costume?
Two years ago I bought a mummy costume to wear for work as I was working Halloween night. It didn’t really fit right as I bought the wrong size due to being in a hurry. Work was dead that night and I was the only staff member to have dressed up. Disappointing night. As for best costume, that would be my living dead doll from last year – made out of items I already had in my wardrobe.
5. How do you get into the Halloween spirit?
I watch loads of horror/Halloween movies and watch all of The Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors from the beginning. I also listen to a lot of Halloween music, watch Disneyland Halloween season videos on YouTube and search for Halloween costume ideas.
6. Favourite Halloween Decorations
I always enjoy black flowers or black roses, bats, pumpkins and ghost related items. No spiders or cobwebs though.
7. Name one unusual thing that you’re afraid of.
Most of the things I am afraid of have reasoning behind them or aren’t that unusual; like my arachnophobia and fear of flying.
8. Vampires or Zombies?
Vampires definitely. I’ve never been a massive fan of zombies, but vampires I’ve loved since I was about 6 and I started watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
9. Werewolves or Ghosts?
Ghosts as I really love Haunted Houses and the paranormal, as shown in this blog post.
10. Creepy dolls or creepy clowns?
Neither. I’ve always hated porcelain dolls and as much as clowns don’t really bother me, I still wouldn’t want to come across a creepy clown.
11. Do you believe in ghosts?
I do indeed. I love the paranormal, although I know if a ghost paid me a visit, I may freak out a little at first.
