Blogmas #17: Alternative Disneybound – Star Wars Edition!

Aloha my wonderful merfolk!

Today is the day that many many many Star Wars fans have been waiting for! Today is the release of Star Wars: Episode 7 – The Force Awakens. I have been a fan of Star Wars since I was a small child. Jabba the Hut used to make me feel incredibly ill and even though I saw the newer trilogy in the cinema, I will always prefer the originals.

Today, to celebrate the release of the new movie, I thought I would bring you another Alterntive Disneybound – this time a Star Wars edition! So here we go, and  may the force be with you!

Darth Vader

The first Star Wars Character to get the Disneybound treatment is Darth Vader. For those of you who are not aware, Darth Vader is the main villain in the original three Star Wars movies.

These four designs are pretty casual Disneybounds. However, if you wanted to do a more formal Darth Vader Disneybound, wear a black dress with some black tights and heeled boots or courts. Team with a handbag and a black blazer. Darth Vader is an easier Star Wars character to Disneybound, especially when you own a lot of black clothing like me. The final touches of any Darth Vader Disneybound are the accessories: Darth Vader or red Lightsabres!

Han Solo

Han Solo is one of the good guys in the original three Star Wars movies. He roams the galaxy on his ship with his pal Chewbacca.

Once again, these Disneybounds are pretty casual and pretty easy to replicate. A simple pair of black jeans, a white top and a black blazer or waistcoat. Easy to dress up as well by swapping out the flats for a pair of heeled courts or boots. You could also swap the jeans and top with a black and white dress or a white blouse with a black pencil skirt. Add a sparkle with your themed silver jewellery and viola, one Han Solo Disneybound that can be worn out for drinks or to a party.

Anakin Skywalker

Anakin is another Star Wars character that could be deemed easy to Disneybound if you own a lot of black clothing. Anakin Skywalker is seen in Episodes 1 through the 3, but would later become Darth Vader (Spoiler Alert!!)

Once again, all black clothing mixed up with some cool Star Wars accessories! An Anakin Disneybound can be both casual and formal, depending on your taste.

Storm Trooper

Storm Troopers are an army that are fronted by Darth Vader. They tend to do all of the dirty work, unless Vader needs to get involved himself. Their armour is white and black which again, make this Disneybound a simple option.

Black jeans or trousers with a white top or blouse, topped with a white cardigan and finished off with black and white shoes. These could be heels, flats, trainers; you name it you can use it. Disneybounding is about using your imagination, so go wild with the Storm Trooper ideas!

Darth Maul

Darth Maul is one of the main villains in Star Wars: Episode 1. He is well known for having a red and black face and a double edged lightsabre!

Similar to Darth Vader, the clothes are all black but this time you can add some red accessories such as jewellery and a bag. For a casual look, add some studded ankle boots or combat boots. For a more dressed up look, add black wedges or courts. Again the cardigan can be swapped out for a blazer or a black coat for the chilly winter weather!

Star Wars

This final outfit comes from a Disneybound x Cakeworthy collection. I don’t think shirt is available but you can find Cakeworthy’s website here.

In case you weren’t wanting to Disneybound today but wanted to show your love and support for this movie collection, a simple Star Wars tee with a pair of jeans and trainers will be just as cool!

Do you enjoy Star Wars? Have you been looking forward to the release of the new movie? Did you pre-book tickets?
