Aloha my wonderful merfolk!
I found this ‘tag’ on Tumblr and after reading through the questions, I thought I would I would give it a go. The original poster is MeridasNeverland and you can find their post here. The idea is that there are Disney characters associated with certain questions that you need to answer. That’s basically it!
Aurora: Story of your first kiss – I was around 13 and it was at my boyfriends house. I was too shy to initiate to he just kissed me. Not massively romantic but I was 13.
Rapunzel: 5 things from your bucket list – Visit every Disney park in the world, Tour America, Be fluent in French/German, Go on a Ghost Hunt, Have my own family.
Dory: Something someone has told you that you can’t forget (two good things and one bad) – I honestly have the worst memory ever for remembering positive thing, I tend to remember the negative things that I have found out; mostly about betrayal.
Pocahontas: Something new you taught someone – I feel like I am currently helping someone to feel more independent and to take steps into bettering their life.
Mulan: Do you trust your gut feeling? What happened? – I used to, but my brain is too foggy these days to really trust what it tells me.
Jasmine: The story of when you had to really trust someone. Was it easy? – When I got with my current boyfriend, I had to learn to trust again and to pull down the emotional walls I had put up to protect myself after being hurt and used so many times in the past.
Belle: Is there someone you are close to who no one else likes? What’s the story? – Actually, I was the one people didn’t like. When I got with my boyfriend, his friends stopped inviting him out for drinks and such because they didn’t like me (for stupid reasons might I add).
Ariel: Where do you think you belong, and why? – I feel like place wise I am where I belong, I am with a person I am meant to be with. Roll on July when I get to live with my best friend and things will really start to take shape.
Tiana: A time you tried the hardest for something – My time at University. I spent four years at University whilst battling mental health problems. This means concentration and motivation was sometimes very difficult and I always had a lot of catching up to do. However, whenever I felt well I put my all into my degree and I managed to graduate in 2015. I felt a massive sense of achievement. I do miss university sometimes and the learning of new things.
Simba: Something a parent has taught you -.My Mam taught me how to be strong. She was a single parent for so long, trying (and succeeding) to give me the best childhood she could. I admire my Mam so much for this and I hope I have even half of her strength in me.
Alice: Done drugs? – I don’t understand why people do them.
Peter Pan: Something from your childhood that you still love – Disney; I will probably always love Disney & pass it on to future generations of my family.
Merida: What are you most passionate about? – Disney and Criminology. The latter dwindled a little bit in the past year after I graduated as I wanted a break from the thing I was studying but I definitely miss it. I also want to be more passionate with the arts. I miss being creative and having the positive space in order to be creative!
