Aloha my wonderful merfolk!
Another fashion Friday is upon us. For anyone within the alternative subculture, they know how big of an influence Edgar Allan Poe has been to both our literature choices and fashion choices. His most popular and well known stories include The Raven (as done by The Simpsons in one of their Treehouse of Horror Halloween specials) and The Tell Tale Heart (also mentioned in a Simpsons episode). You may also recognise his poem Come Little Children as it was used to influence the song Garden of Magic from Hocus Pocus.
A lot of fashion using Edgar Allan Poe as an influence has popped up recently and I love it, so thought I would gather bits and pieces from across the internet and share it with you guy!
This is a website that I have grown to love window shopping on. It sells some amazing clothes, as well as household objects. You can find their website here.
I’ve heard a lot about Restyle as many of my favourite Goth YouTubers buy clothing items from this store. I have not personally bought from this website but they do sell some very nice items. You can find their website here.
Again, Amazon makes an appearance. It’s such a simple website to use and you can always find what you are looking for and with Amazon Prime, it can be with you in one whole day.
Again, eBay makes an appearance on one of my fashion posts; it is one of my favourite websites to browse and buy from.
I love Edgar Allan Poe and especially The Raven. Hopefully I’ll soon be able to have some Edgar Allan Poe inspired items in my wardrobe!
