Top 5 Disneyland Paris Parade Songs!

Aloha my wonderful merfolk!

Since returning from Disneyland Paris, I have had Post Disney Depression something rotten and therefore have wanted to do anything that reminds me of the magical place. I saw on my friend Emilys blog Hollywood And Lime that she did a top 5 Disneyland Paris Parade Songs post, and with her permission, I have decided to do my own! You can find her original post here.

5. Disney’s Cinema Parade

This was the first parade in the Walt Disney Studio and ran from 2002 till 2008. I really enjoyed this parade with it’s floats and the music that came with it. The whole parade was one long show, with each float connected to the next in clever ways. I also enjoyed how the last float included Fun and Fancy Free; it’s very a rare the wartime/package era is included in Disney parks. You can see a video of the parade here.

4. Disney’s Fantillusion Parade

This was the second night time parade I ever saw and even to this day I think it is beautiful. I love night time parades’ they’re always so bright and colourful and happy. It ran from 2003 till 2012; that’s a pretty solid 9 year run! I saw this night time parade quite a few times during my visits as a child. You can find a video of the parade here.

3. Dancin’ A Catchy Rhythm

This was the first Disneyland Paris parade I ever saw and if I remember correctly, it was still called Euro Disney at the time. I might be wrong on that one though. I adored the Steamboat Williw float that was at the beginning of this parade and have loved Steamboat Willie and old time Disney ever since. I found a guests quick home video of this parade on YouTube which you can watch here.

2. Magic on Parade

This was the latest Disney parade I saw, watching it for the first time in April this year. It was hard to choose between this and Dancin’ A Catchy Rhythm as to which would go where. This parade also now means a lot to me on a personal level as this was the parade I watched with a friend who is no longer with us. So it has become even more special to me. You can watch a video of the parade from 2016 and new lyrics here. After the 20th anniversary, certain lyrics were changed.

1. Main Street Electrical Parade

The number one spot goes to the Main Street Electrical Parade. This soundrack has always been my absolute favourites as it gives me very find memories of my first ever trip to Disneyland Paris back in 1999 when I was 7. The soundtrack now makes me so happy that I expel happy tears whenever I hear it. I even cried when I heard parts of the MSEP in the Paint The Night soundtrack. The MSEP ran from 1992 till 2003 in Disneyland Paris. A lot of videos of this parade are not the best of quality due to the period of time in which most of them were filmed; not a lot of HD camera usage in the 90s! You can see a video of the parade here however.

That was top 5 Disneyland Paris Parade Songs. Was your favourite in my list? Do you think there were any I missed out? What is your top 5?

  1. Thanks for the list. Have you heard the parade song from 2008 – just like we dreamed it
    ? I love that song too 🙂

What is the parade song this year 2016? Is it still Magic Everywhere?

    Many hugs from Cat
