#Blogmas Day 12: Disney PS1 Games!

  Aloha my wonderful merfolk!

Roughly this time last year, during my yearly visit to my parents house, I took photographs of my Disney PS1 games with the idea of creating a blog post. Almost a year later, that post sat in my drafts. So, I thought it was time to dust it off and discuss the Disney PS1 games I still own, as well as the ones I previously owned and have since given away.

Due to how long this post was in my drafts for, the photography is not brilliant. In fact, I am going to be brutally honest. It’s terrible. I have learned more about photography this past year and know very well how I like the photographs on my blog to look. So, I apologise for the awful quality of the photo I shall use in this blog post.

So, let’s first have a look at the games I still own.

Toy Story 2

I don’t think I ever fully completed this game as after the first few levels, I didn’t really enjoy it. When I was a kid the levels were too big to find everything and I never unlocked all of Buzz’s techniques. However, for the first few levels I used to love this game.

Again, another game I never completed. the levels got too difficult after a while and I just gave up. Did you ever find that some PS1 games for kids just had the hardest levels?

Monsters Inc: Scare Island

This has to be one of my favourite PS1 games ever. I used to play over and over and over again. I think this game is where my love for Mike Wazowski originated as I’d always choose to play as him.

Treasure Planet

I never really played a lot of this game. I’m not entirely sure why but I don’t remember ever getting very far in it.

The Little Mermaid II

Finally a game I completed, over and over. This game I absolutely adored and I think it aided my love for Ariel. You played as both Ariel and Melody and went through both of their stories. So much fun! And, there were mini games that you could unlock as you went through story mode.

A Bugs Life

Another game I never completed. What is wrong with me? However, I loved this game. A Bugs Life is one of my favourite Disney Pixar movies and I think it’s such an underrated movie.

Lilo & Stitch

I loved this game. So cute and I loved being able to play as Stitch; collecting coffee mugs and photographs for Lilo.

Mulan: Storybook

For some reason it’s not in the photograph, however, I do own Mulan: Storybook. I loved this game so much. It’s a simply point and click game but I loved it all the same. I especially loved playing mahjong over and over again.

Let’s move onto the games I used to own but either gave away or swapped for other games.

This game I just found way too hard and by the end of it, I stopped enjoying it. The idea was cool, but that’s why I ended up selling the game.

Tiggers Honey Hunt

This game I never personally owned, but I played it at a friends. I remember it being so much fun!

Jungle Book Groove Party

I adore this game. Only reason I got rid of it on PS1 is because I got a copy with my PS2.

Aladdin: Nasira’s Revenge

I only liked the first couple of levels of this game. I remember sitting with my Mam, trying to complete this game and just hating it.

Peter Pan: Adventures in Neverland

Another game that I wanted to love but just couldn’t.

Dance Dance Revolution

Another game I didn’t actually own but I played this all the time at a friends. I was never very good at dancing games on a dance mat. Give me the controller however and I was awesome!

Did you own or play any of these games? What Disney PS1 games did you used to own or play? Leave them in the comments below.
