My Top 3 Songs From Robin Hood

Aloha my wonderful merfolk!

Robin Hood was one of my favourite Disney movies when I was a child and it still stays with me now as an adult. The characters the story and especially he music in this film is just fantastic! I know this film is a part of the Bronze era and therefore should not be seen as an equally good Disney movie to he Walt eras but I love it and I think it’s one of the best they released just after Walt death.

Today, I thought I would share with you my Top 3 songs from this movie.

16. Robin Hood

3. Not in Nottingham

This is the sad song of the movie but I love it. Alan-A-Dale is a fantastic narrator; he tells the story well and you genuinely feel bad for all the characters that have been locked away in jail.

2. Whistle Stop

Okay, so this one is not technically a song but it gets stuck in my head whenever I hear it, so it counts in my book. This song plays during the opening credits of the movie which introduces some of the characters.

1. Phoney King of England

I don’t think it’s any surprise that this is my favourite song from the movie. It’s so much fun and just easy to sing along too. Sure a lot of the animation in this scene is recycled from previous Disney movies but that doesn’t take away the charm and magic of this scene.
