A 1950s Bianca Disneybound

Aloha my wonderful merfolk!

Today we visit the 1950s. I adore the fashion that comes from this era in time. It’s so classy and smart and anything retro or vintage has a place in my heart. Eva Gabor, who provided the voice of Miss Bianca, was a big name in the 1950s. She starred in many movies as well as television and was an icon of her time.

With that in mind, I have decided to do a 1950s inspired Bianca Disneybound!

24. Rescuers Down Under

Firstly, let’s have a look at the lovely Miss Bianca:

And now for my Disneybound:

I found this wonderful purple swing dress on a website called Lindybop. I thought this purple matched Bianca’s perfectly and the little bow matches the one on her cape. I couldn’t find any purple shoes that I liked or that I thought matched this outfit well enough. So, I went with grey, the colour of Miss Biancas fur. I found these lovely court shoes on the New Look website. New Looks shoes are usually quite reasonably priced so can make for perfect Disneybounds.

This pillbox hat is from a website called Village Hats. It’s not the cheapest of items for this Disneybound but it mirrors the one that Miss Bianca wears herself. These adorable little earring are from Rockshore Accessories on etsy. Just a little Rescuers addition to the Disneybound.

As per usual, the final touches to my Disneybound are the nails. Paint all but the ring fingers in purple (purple pop from Barry M) and then paint your ring finger in grey (pit stop by Barry M).

I kept this Disneybound simpler than the others as Miss Bianca usually only wears a small amount of clothing. Sometimes, less is more.

a mermaid be waiting for you, in mysterious fathoms below
