1980s Scar Disneybound featuring Boohoo

Aloha my wonderful merfolk!

It’s Friday once again which means it’s time for another fashion post. My favourite type of post to write is this type. I get to explore different fashion types, different eras, I get to use my imagination and try out different things.

Disneybounding is a wonderful way to try out new fashion and, continuing with my era themed Disneybounds, let’s move onto the 1980s. 80s fashion was interesting and so should this Disneybound be. Today, I am going to create a Disneybound inspired by Scar from The Lion King.

This post is not sponsored by Boohoo.

Firstly, let’s have a look at Scar:

Now, let’s have a look at the Disneybound:

The first item for this Disneybound is just a basic black vest. Simple but does the trick. I’ve teamed them with these super shiny brown disco pants.  Disco pants were huge in the 80s, so why not rock them with this 1980s Scar Disneybound?

Adding a leather jacket to you disco pants and vest top combo is very 80s Madonna. Want to see? Click on her name. I found this Faux Leather jacket that would look perfect. These pointed court shoes are perfect for this 80s Disneybound. Although perhaps not suitable for a park visit. If that’s the case, perhaps swap them out for some Dr Martens in black.

This replica lion tooth necklace is the first accessory for this Disneybound. I’ve teamed it with some brown plastic bangles. Layering these up your arms was very big in the 80s.

Big hair was very popular in the 80s and it was worn with hair accessories such as bows or material head bands. I found this lace hair bow on eBay. Layer up lots of plastic beads with the lion tooth necklace for a real 80s look.

Big black hoop earrings and lace fingerless gloves are the final touches to this Disneybound.

a mermaid be waiting for you, in mysterious fathoms below
