Pain and Panic at Disneyland Paris

Aloha my wonderful merfolk!

In October 2016, I visited Disneyland Paris for the Halloween season and most importantly, the Halloween Soiree. Halloween is my most favourite time of year and for me, this was pretty exciting. I knew the party would be filled with surprises but I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect.

Then, the Halloween Soiree cavalcade happened and everything I ever could have wanted, happened right before my eyes. There were rare characters galore and such a good song to go with it. This cavalcade happened twice during that evening and I watched it both times!

Having looked at the program for the evening, we knew what time the cavalcade was meant to take place. So, as a group, we made our way up to the Fantasyland gates and found ourselves a spot. Halloween music was playing to keep us all entertained whilst we waited. What happened next shocked, amazing and made all of us very happy Disney fans:

As the floats came past with an array of Disney villains, including a lot of rare sights, all of us were holding our breath and some were crying. As you can see in the video, one of the floats included Pain and Panic from Hercules. For me, this was amazing. I have adored Panic since I first saw Hercules and to see him in my home park and to get a wave from him, made my night.

This parade was incredible. The dancers, the floats, the range of characters, the song. Everything was perfect and I couldn’t have wished for anything better. I rewatch the above video over and over and still cannot believe I was there in person to witness such an amazing event.
