My Top 3 Classical Music Pieces from Fantasia 2000

Aloha my wonderful merfolk!

I was originally going to title today’s blog post as Top 3 Songs, however, they’re not really songs. They’re composed pieces and so, I changed the title. It’s still a top 3 but this time, it’s my top 3 composed pieces from Fantasia 2000. I’ll be honest when I say that I much prefer the original Fantasia, however, Fantasia 2000 does have it’s good parts.

For this top 3, Sorcerer’s Apprentice is disqualified as it is in both movies.

33. Fantasia 2000

3. Pines of Rome

This song reminds me of a Disney park parade. Its very twinkly, happy and magic sounding. It’s no wonder this musical piece made it into my top 3. Whenever I hear it I feel like I should be stood on Main Street USA, camera in hand waiting for characters and floats to pass by.

2. Symphony No. 5

I have known this piece of music since I was a small child. It is one of the most famous pieces of orchestral music in the world. I love this piece and the animation that goes with it. I’m so glad it was featured in Fantasia 2000.

1. Carnival of the Animals

This piece hit the number one spot as it’s just so fun to listen to. I hear it and it instantly makes me feel happier. It makes me smile.
