Aloha my wonderful merfolk!
Disneyland Paris turned 25 this year and as a part of their special anniversary celebrations, lots of rare of exciting characters walked down Main Street USA. The Grand Celebration took place on April 12th 2017 and although I couldn’t be there personally, a lot of my friends were and it looked like they had an amazingly special time.
It’s always amazing when rare character are out in Disneyland Paris and one film that is seriously neglected when it comes to sightings or meet and greets is Atlantis. I would love it if the characters were out in Discoveryland more. That would be amazing.
The Grand Celebration was a character parade through the castle, around and through Central Plaza and then down Main Street USA. It celebrated all the lands of Disneyland Paris through song, dance and characters.
Kida and Milo joined the parade to celebrate Discoveryland. I remember when I watched a video on YouTube a couple of days after it had happened and my jaw fell to the floor. Atlantis was one of my favourite Disney films when I was a kid and even to this day, I see it as seriously underrated. So to finally see characters from one of my favourite underrated Disney films in my home park was an amazing feeling, even if I wasn’t there to experience it in person.
The below video includes lots of photos of Kida and Milo on their trip down Main Street USA. It was compiled by Glenn Aker and uploaded to YouTube.

MouseSteps are another YouTube channel that were at Disneyland Paris to capture the magical 25th Anniversary Grand Celebration.
The 25th Anniversary Grand Celebration looked like an amazing day to be in the parks. Disneyland Paris have done so well celebrating their quarter century milestone. You can see how much love and magic went into this celebration and I am still so sad that I couldn’t be there in person.
