My Meet with Tiana and Naveen

Aloha my wonderful merfolk!

Visiting a Disney park is one of the times the stresses and problems in daily life just melt away and I can completely be at ease and enjoy myself. A big part of this is meeting characters. Meeting characters can have great impacts on your emotions and how you feel. It can make you feel your most happy.

Today, I want to share with you my experience with meeting Tiana and Naveen.

44. Princess and the Frog

In April 2016, I went to Disneyland Paris during the Swing into Spring season. During this season, Tiana and Naveen were meeting down by Big Thunder Mountain in Frontierland, at the entrance to the Riverboats. I knew I couldn’t miss this opportunity so, I planned to meet the frog couple.

Prior to this meet, I had queued to meet Merida, who gave me a message to pass on to Naveen. We walked back round from Cowboy Cookout to the River boats and waited in the queue. As the royal couple had only just gone in for their break, the queue wasn’t very long and we were only third in the queue.

As the queue went down and it became my turn, I walked up to the Tiana and Naveen and greeted them with a Bonjour. Naveen replied in French and I had to apologise as I don’t speak French all that well. He called me princess and said he could speak English for me. I then remembered I had a message to pass on from Merida. I had to tell Naveen that Merida was better at archery than him and he could never beat her in a million years. He wasn’t impressed by this message and said he would show Merida how well he could fire a bow.

I also had to tell Tiana that she looked beautiful in her dress. She told me I looked beautiful too. We then took a photo together.

Meeting Tiana and Naveen was one of my favourite meet and greets from my Swing into Spring trip 2016 due to the interaction between Tiana, Naveen and myself. It was a wonderful meet in my favourite land in the Disneyland park.

a mermaid be waiting for you, in mysterious fathoms below
