Aloha my wonderful merfolk!
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you will know that Disneyland Paris is celebrating it’s twenty fifth anniversary this year. On April 12th, there was a big Joyeux Anniversaire celebration down Main Street and boy oh boy was it jam packed full of music, dancing and rare characters. Was Zootropolis included in this celebration of Disney magic? Of course it was and today, I’m sharing that with you. None of these photographs are mine. They all belong to the wonderful Disney fans who were there on the day to take them. Each photograph will have a link to it’s owners Twitter accounts below it. Go follow them all and show them some Disney love.
On April 12th, Disneyland Paris celebrated their 25th anniversary. They put on a huge show celebrating the different lands of the park, as well as the movies that fit into those different genres. I sadly wasn’t there to see the celebrations in person, however, I’ve watched a video of it on YouTube. The feeling from the YouTube video alone was electric so I can only imagine the atmosphere in the parks was even better!
During the final parts of the giant celebration, a lot of rare characters came out from inside the castle. This included Koda and Kenai, Flik and Atta, Mittens and Bolt and of course Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps. Seeing so many rare or newer characters walking down Main Street USA was amazing. It showed, to me, that Disneyland Paris can have those amazing characters. They now just have to utilise them correctly.
Following on from the 25th anniversary celebration, some of the featured rare characters would make more appearances on our beloved Main Street. On a Tuesday, these rare characters make a guest appearance before Stars on Parade. Each week, a different character. Of course, these characters have looped around a few times in the seven months since the anniversary. Nick and Judy do feature as Tuesday guests of honour.
Hopefully Nick and Judy can find their forever home at Disneyland Paris and will start doing meet and greets sooner rather than later!
