My Moana Collection

Aloha my wonderful merfolk!

Moana quickly became one of my favourite Disney movies of the modern era. So, it’s safe to say that I started a collection of Moana merchandise. My collection, for the moment, is only small due to lack of space. However, I feel like I’ll always be happy to collect merchandise and add to my collection.

51. Moana

The first item in my collection is this Pua Baby plush from Disneyland Paris. Disneyland Paris have a whole collection of Disney baby plushes which are made up of some of our favourite characters, just smaller, sometime cuter and wrapped in little blankets. The collection is absolutely adorable and when I saw Pua I knew I just had to own her!

My Moana and Pua Funko Pop was gifted to me last Christmas. By this point I hadn’t seen the film but from trailers alone I felt like I would love this movie. When I finally saw the movie, I was proven right. This film, as mentioned, quickly rose up to be one of my favourite Disney films of the modern era and indeed ever. I’m so glad I have this Funko Pop in my collection.

The above soft toy was my first ever Moana purchase. I found her in the Disney Store in Harrods, London whilst on a day trip to visit friends. If you want to see what I did on that trip, you can find the blog post here. Visiting Harrods and in particular the Disney Store was a fantastic experience. This Disney Store, in my opinion, is like no other!

I don’t collect Tsum Tsums religiously. I won’t collect whole collections, I’ll only buy ones that I really like or really want. When I saw Pua, I knew she had to come home with me. Again, this was a Disney Store Harrods purchase.

As soon as Moana came out on DVD, I knew I needed to own it. Netflix in the UK no longer has Disney movies on. I don’t have Sky Cinema so wouldn’t be able to watch it on there. I have no subscribed to Disney Life so can’t watch it on there. Instead, I bought the DVD for about £8 in Morrisons, which for my non-UK readers is a supermarket chain that tends to sell Disney DVD’s for a bit cheaper than places that only sell DVD’s. I also love the fact that Disney are still releasing movies in the colourful O-Rings!

The one thing missing from my collection that I’m incredibly sad is missing, is the adorable Pua pin that you could buy from Disneyland Paris. Whilst there during November, I didn’t see this pin badge anywhere and I was genuinely incredibly sad about this.

a mermaid be waiting for you, in mysterious fathoms below
