Aloha my wonderful merfolk!
As this is the final post of my 52 week Disney themes, I thought it would be rude not to do one of my favourite blog post types. To round of 2017, I’m going to do a Scrooge Disneybound and make it festive enough to wear for a New Years Eve party!
Firstly, let’s have a look at Ebeneezer Scrooge:
Now, let’s have a look at my Scrooge New Years Disneybound:
Firstly, I chose this white Victoria blouse that I found on Amazon. They are sold in UK sizes however, the size guide says they run small and they take a while to arrive. I would assume from this they are from China or Japan and therefore you would need to buy one or two sizes bigger than you normally would. I teamed the Victorian blouse with these 1940’s Chic Star Trousers from Kates Clothing. They help give a smart office vibe whilst also being col enough to wear to a party. If you weren’t feeling trousers for New Year, sap them for a high-waisted pencil skirt or skinny jeans.
To add a bit of glitter for New Years Eve, I found this sparkling sequin blazer on New Look. It will give the Disneybound that extra pizazz but will also help keep the chills off you whilst counting down to midnight. As it’s New Year, why not wear a nice pair of heels with this outfit? I found a simple pair on New Look. If you don’t like or can’t wear heels, perhaps a sparkling pair of trainers or smart flats.
It’s makeup time! As usual, I have two nail varnish colours. The first is Black Forest which I would put on all bu my ring fingers, or I would alternate with Diamond for more sparkles. For my eyes, I would use the Barry M On Point Precision Eyeliner for a good cat eye. For extra shimmer I would use the Dazzle Dust in shade Apollo.
